Evy Stone wakes up in a morgue -- in someone else's body. The former hunter has three days to solve her own murder. After that, she's toast. Along the way, she finds out that there's a lot more at stake than her own life. The supernaturals in town are gearing up for war, and the human hunters who keep them in line all seem to think Evy has something to do with it.
Evy is a strong, likable heroine. The plot is engaging, and the style is gripping. Once you get started, you won't want to put it down.
Kelly Meding draws you right into Evy's world. This book was a lot of fun to read! It's a great debut; full of plot twists and action reminiscent of a Jim Butcher novel. I'll definitely be picking up the next book!
